Catching up on the May Posts

Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life .

We have had a busy couple of weeks here and the posts have not been current. I have added the updates to the blog with the correct date to keep things in chronological order. In the last two weeks, we have had my Dad go in the hospital unexpectedly, our 26th Anniversary, Sheridan’s Surgeries, Sheridan’s Birthday, Sheridan’s Birthday Party with Eddison and of course school ended.

I am so glad to have finished another year of teaching high school. The funny thing about teaching is that with this profession, you have a beginning, middle and ending. Teaching is a profession that follows a natural calendar and unlike most jobs, you do see the results of your work as one class finishes ending with graduation. There are some drawbacks as over time the face in your mirror ages. However as you look out over the faces in the desks, you notice that they have only changed, but the never grown any older. I will be enjoying my summer teaching two days a week at the University and spending time with MaMa and Sheridan. I will also be working on the Honey Do’s around the house and hope to uncover the garage in the process this summer.

I will enjoy every minute of the time off, but will be busy as look to catch-up on a few projects and to make time to spend with Sheridan and MaMa.

Enjoy the posts.

Wow–you have been busy. Happy Anniversary! Sorry to hear about your Dad–we’re lifting you all up in prayer. Looking forward to seeing you all.
