A Joint Birthday Party for Sheridan and Eddison
Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life; Friends and Family .
Last year we attended Eddison’s 2nd Birthday. It was a great afternoon at Bob and Fran’s house (Eddison’s grandparents). We talked about how great it would be to have our little guy home and for the two of them to get to be friends and their grandfathers and fathers are good friends. We hoped that at this time one year later that we would all meet again for a birthday celebration and to have My Dad get a chance to share stories with Bob. Of course we also hoped that we have one additional birthday cake for one additional birthday boy. We began to plan this joint combination and this year we all enjoyed the plans that began last year.
Here are a couple of shots of Eddison from last year.
Last year the party was centered around Thomas the train. This year the theme was Sagwa the Chinese Cat. We arrived a little early and helped set up for the guests. Sheridan fell asleep on the way over so he got a little nap. Eddison was napping when we arrived. Sheridan invited Micah along with Uncle Bruce and Aunt Karen. They came up the day before and stayed at Camp Sheridan for the Memorials Day Weekend. It was great fun to have them visit Camp Sheridan again. The boys always have a good time playing together and of course the adults like spending time together as well.
Well we had a great time at the combined party. Ellie Grace came with her parents Erik and Laura. Dad and Bob had some time to talk about days past notice I avoided the good old days metaphor. I even heard them say that they were not sure that the old days were better days.
Sheridan had fun playing outside where he and Micah rode trikes in the parking lot. Eddison also rode one of the three trikes that Eddie brought for the kids along with bubbles. Each birthday guy had a cake along with one for all of the guests. The cakes were served after the lunch buffett which had nibbles, sandwiches, chicken and MaMa’s dumplings. Micah and Sheridan loved the dumplings.
A great time was had by all. What a difference a year makes. Enjoy the photos below.

These are wonderful. This morning I spent reading your old posts including up to gotcha day. I looked at Sheridan on the couch and remembered him last night. What a change! What a joy!
