Sunday Anticipation – 5/18/08

Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life .

We spent our Sunday in uneasy anticipation of the trip to the hospital for Sheridan. Uneasy anticipation instead of dreaded fear. No one wishes for their child to undergo surgery, but we were also not dreading it with a dire fear of what might happen or could happen than paralyses you with a deep dread.

We went to our former church for the yearly blessing for our anniversary and for Sheridan’s birthday. We also attended to be with my parents. Sheridan went up to the front for the blessing, but his Irish gene kicked in and he got to roving all around in front of us and the priest.

We went to breakfast with Mom and Dad at the Waffle House and then proceeded to go grocery shopping. Next stop home for a nap. Later we would clean the house and take Sheridan out for a late lunch or early supper.

Our late meal was taking him to Chili’s where he got to order one of the Chocolate Molten Cakes for his birthday. He tapped tapped on the shell and ate his fill. He really enjoyed this as you can see in the photos. It was a peaceful day.
