Tae Kwon Do Demo Team

Sheridan got to do his first performance with the Tae Kwon Do demo team yesterday. It was a little chilly in the parking lot, but the show did go on. In fact, they performed twice. It was not the best for picture taking, but I still made the best of it.

He is progressing with his Tae Kwon Do as he is now a first level blue belt. He has also started instructor training at the young age of 6. In this program, he gets to work with the younger students (Tiger Cubs) and assist the instructor with class. This is a great program as it lets him develop his teaching and leadership skills while learning the important life lesson of helping others.

As you might can surmise, I would pop if I were any prouder of him. His form is coming along and we see the tenants of Tae Kwon Do that he is learning in his interactions with others.
