The Wonder Years

We had a comment on the post about being an older parent. The comment was from another adoptive father who refers to these as The “Wonder Years” as in wonder why I did that. I thought this was an interesting take on this time of our lives. They really are the Wonder Years as we are in awe and and wonder of how much fun we are having with our son and family.

What is neat is that we are going to have dinner with this family when we are in Disney during our Mid-Winter Break. Should be a fun time and a chance to compare notes with the originators of the term “The Wonder Years” as it refers to those of us in the later in life family category.
