Sailing the seas – 1 year ago

One year ago we were sailing the seas outside of New Orleans and experienced another one of those moments when God enters your life. Some call these coincidences, but I think that these are God moments. One of these “chance” meetings occurred on board the cruise ship. I walked by a table at the pool and heard the words home study update. I inquired and found out that the lady was adopting from Viet Nam. We then started talking about adoption and where we were from and I found out that despite her northern accent she lived in our home town and was a teacher in the same school district. Cathy was just finishing her paperwork for Lennah. Kim came over and we had a long converstation and made a new friend.

What a difference a year makes. Both families are now united with their child. Our lives are fuller for this friendship and for her joining our adoption community. Is it a mere coincidence, no indeed a God Moment for sure.
