Homestudy Year Long Visit

Today was our one year appointment for Sheridan’s update for the year. We scheduled it a little early since he wasgoing to have surgery for the second time next week. Our Social Worker came out and talked with us. We had lunch for her and then chatted about how things had gone during the year and his development. He has made fabulous progress as he is speaking in several word sentences and you can tell that he is thinking about his answers before replying. His is a bright little guy. We selected the several photos that she would need to include with the report for Chinese Center for Adoption Affairs.

We scheduled the visit a little early to get it finished before surgery, her vacation and before school started back for me. Hard to believe so many firsts for all of us in our lives together.
