Dinner with Kjeldsens

Laura and Erik came over for dinner tonight with Ellie Grace and Nikalas. Sheridan was soo excited about having new friends over. He really enjoys being with Ellie Grace and she enjoys being with him. Hmmmmm? Well now that Nikalas has just come home, he is starting to get to know her younger brother who is his size, and age.
MaMa made orange beef tips and noodles along with broccoli. For desert, she made a lemon cake that was a real hit with all including the kids. Nikalas loved dinner and grinned all the way through the meal.
One of the things that we hoped to do during the summer was to socialize more with those in our adoption group. We are trying to get Sheridan used to having friends over or to going over to friends houses. We also need to visit with others and spend time with them and their kids as we enjoy learning about their stories and experiencing their families while sharing ours.
We had a great night of conversation and the kids had a blast playing with each other. Thanks for a great night.

We had a lovely time at your house and enjoyed the time to talk and let the kids play together. Dinner was wonderful! We hope to have you over soon.
