Celebrating the 4th Early
Posted by BaBa under: Adoption Community Group .
After the Blueberry processing, cooking and a nap, we went to the park to meet our small adoption community group for a picnic. We had a great time. This would be the first time we would see Baby Nate who had come home from Colorado. It would be the first time that all of the kids were there in one spot with the recent additions of Meron and Nate.
It was fun watching Uncle Tymm with Meron and Mr. Pete with Nate side by side new Dads learning the ropes with their new charges.
We brought blueberry jelly for our friends and the Hoffmans brought us a wooden cross from Ethiopia made by the lepers and an outfit for Sheridan. I cannot wait to take a few shots with him in his beautiful traditional outfit.
We are blessed to have children home and are still waiting for a couple of homecomings to complete the group. The wait in China has grown really long, but while the wait is long the friendship is strong and the faith in God is stronger still.
Happy early 4th of July.

We really enjoyed our time together. What a joy to see all those kiddos and parents together!
