Houston – We STILL Have A Problem!

We went back to the orthopedist yesterday to have Sheridan’s second cast removed. When it came off, my heart just sank. The swelling is back and it is as bad as before the drainage. Sheridan’s little face was so sad. He had tears in his eyes as he looked at his wrist and said, “MaMa, it’s not flat!” Unfortunately, the swelling means Sheridan will face another surgery to figure out what is wrong. At least he isn’t back in a cast. We leave for Colorado next week and I want him to have the opportunity to swim and play while we are staying at the ski resort.

So sorry to hear that – surgery is always so scary. I hope they can figure it out soon. I’m just glad he gets to be out of the cast for a while…

Oh hon, my heart is breaking for you. I was really hoping that the swelling would be gone. I hope you can make the most of this time out of the cast.
Sheridan’s visit yesterday was such a wonderful distraction for Micah. Micah’s first drink was from Sheridan’s sippy. What a kind gentle heart your son has. We love you all.

Oh NO!!! I am so sorry for that sweet boy! What a long battle to get this corrected! Please keep us posted on how he’s doing and the plan to fix it, and we will keep on praying for his recovery!

Bummer! I could just picture his little face watching that cast come off.. sounds like he needs another “jam session”!haha We will keep praying for everything to be healed quickly and get that little guy back to normal!
