First Friday in June 08

We started the evening with the arrival of the Ladmans. We then quickly went to La Dolce Vita for dinner and were joined by Eric, Heather and Lily. After a good meal, we all moved to North Metro (a little late) to join First Friday which was just beginning.

Tonight, we celebrated the 4th anniversary of First Friday with cookies as many of us brought cookies to exchange. Dan showed a video and then talked about priorities, time and the wait. It was a very uplifting message. The wait was described as IT IS just as God refers to himself as I AM. It is hard to learn to wait and to be thankful for what you have and not what you wish. God does hear all prayers, but some are not answered in the ways we expect. I am learning to approach prayer in a manner of thankfulness. I am still amazed and grateful for Sheridan and how he has changed our lives and how his life has been changed.
