Packing Team and Birthday Cake 1

We helped Uncle Tymm and Aunt Laura with the packing for their journey to get Meron. It was a good night to check the lists, offer advice and for Tymm to try out “BOB” with a real person load. BOB is the jogging all terrain stroller from REI. BOB has Ironman stitched on on the bright yellow canvas. It even has a safety brake if Tymm falls down to apply the brake so that BOB does not take Meron on a gravity driven solo ride.

Uncle Tymm really enjoyed playing with Sheridan. He played with some of Meron’s toys including the stacking doughnuts and a cool toy that reads in a very British English voice. Tymm could do without the British English voice. Tymm also got to read to Sheridan. This is one of Sheridan’s favorite things. Our little guy loves books.

They surprised us with a really nice set of gifts for Sheridan including his “UBER-COOL” Yankees hat. Tymm got Meron a pink Yankees hat as well. What a sight they will be. The other surprise was a nice strawberry birthday cake with a candle for the little guy. He has been talking about birthday cake for days and here was the first of several. Two servings for him and some to take home.

Thanks guys for allowing us to help and be a part of your journey. We are grateful that you are part of Sheridan’s extended family and part of our lives. Tymm taught Sheridan how to sit so he was “chillin”. How fun was that. UBER-FUN.
