Soccer and Play Date
Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life .
Today was the last day of soccer for Sheridan. We only had one coach present and soccer was even less organized than usual. Sheridan was soon bored with shooting the ball into the goal. This being one of the two warm-up activities. The other was dribbling the ball the width of the field. The practice ended with trying to get the kids to play and get ONE ball to the goal. Some had this idea, many did not. Sheridan did not. He wanted to be polite and wait his turn. Poor little guy. Well it was a learning experience for all of us. He got a participation medal and was happy with this reward unlike one of the other kids who screamed that he did not want it and took it off to throw it on the ground. T-ball starts in 2 weeks and we hope for a better experience with his team for this activity.
Here are the photos from Soccer today:
We journeyed out to Norcross for a playdate. We visited with Jordan’s parents and Sheridan got to play with Jordan and a new friend Joshua. The boys had a good time as you can see below. Our trip to the other side of town included a stop at the Asian Grocer – Super H Mart. We also saw that they are opening a new store many miles closer to us right off the perimeter at Peachtree Industrial. While this is a still a drive, it is 20+ miles closer to us than their other locations. The Super H Mart has really fresh fruit and of course Asian cuisine items that Sheridan really loves.
