Rocky Mountain High Tickets
Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life .
I found out recently that I have gotten a presentation accepted at Ties Colorado in June. The software company whose product I will demonstrate is picking up my travel expenses. I secured a one way ticket for me on AirTran and a one way return on Delta for myself. At the same time, I cashed in the AirTran points that were about to expire for two one way tickets to Denver and paid for return tickets for 2 on Delta. I worked with the company’s travel agent while she booked my tickets, I was booking their tickets so we could lock down adjoining seats each way. She was really helpful in working with me to get one way tickets on each airline and then lock up my seat while locked up their seats. Thanks Apple Travel.
I am excited as it is gorgeous in Colorado. The conference is at Cooper Mountain Ski Resort. We will stay on the property and Sheridan can swim in the pool, walk in the meadows and take the lift to the top of the mountain to see the snow. It will be a wonderful trip. We will get to spend about one and half days visiting Denver in addition to our time at the resort. It will be a working vacation since I have a session to present, but what a place to visit while working in a little business.
On the day we arrive, we will journey to Centennial Colorado to visit the agency headquarters. I was there last year to sign our LOA when presenting at the same conference. It will be great to have Sheridan visit with MaMa and thank all of the wonderful hard working folks that did so much to bring Sheridan home to our family.
