Splinter in my paw

I am on the way home and I get a call that we are going to have to go to Walmart tonight. Sheridan has a splinter in his hand (paw). He was calling for BaBa to “Fix It”. We went to Walmart and got the supplies. He wanted creme for the wound. We also got peroxide to make bubbles on the wound.
He was not real happy to get home and for time to “Fix It” to begin. Well I had to wear two sets of reading glasses since it is harder for us to see tiny things up close as we age. Sheridan is sitting on the counter, I am equipped with a new sharp needle, new sharp tweezers and a dry cloth. MaMa started by using the peroxide on his hand. This is when the tears began and his desire to withdraw his hand from MaMa’s grip. The cloth ended up being needed as Sheridan covered my hand in drewl. I used the needle to open up the skin beside where the splinter went in. More tears.
We continued on and I was able to open up the skin enough to grab the splinter with the sharp tweezers. Splinter removed and another BaBa medal earned.
