Things That We Have Learned

Things we have learned in no particular order
01. Naps are good
02. Schedules and structure are good
03. Nothing like having friends to share this journey with
04. Community is important
05. You have to pay it forward
06. Prayer works
07. Grace is important
08. In everything give him thanks
09. Chopsticks are spears to stick chicken or pork dumplings with
10. Teaching manners pays off
11. His reservation to study engenering or computer science at Georgia Tech for the fall of 2023 is pending.
12. He will learn to yell to “Hell with Georgia” like his BaBa does at the Tech football games.
13. He loves his MaMa and BaBa.
14. His favorite TV show is watching the “Dirty Show” as he calls “How clean is your house on the BBC.
15. He says dirty beggars when something is messy or untidy (see above)
16. Elmo is cool
17. MaMa is the ultimate playtoy
18. We are developing muscles as we comply with pick-up or carry requests
19. He drinks water like a fish
20. Velcro is the best term to describe his attachment to MaMa
21. MaMa is a tree to climb.
22. Potty training is well worth the effort that MaMa puts into the process.
23. He is learning to stay dry and wear “Big Boy” underwear.
24. Celebrate the small things in life like Popo in the potty. They really are large events for all of us.
25. He is jealous of the dog when she gets BaBa time and it is even worse when she gets MaMa time.
26. He loves Rainbow (dog) and she loves him though sometimes not at the same time
27. He remains a happy little guy who is well loved and loves his family
28. He wants MaMa and does not yet share MaMa with BaBa easily.
29. He will survive when MaMa leaves to run errands, but BaBa will have to redirect his attention and sweeten the deal with a cookie.
30. He loves to flirt with girls and can be a shy guy on some occasions.
