Dick’s Going Away Dinner

Dan and Susan held a going away dinner for Dick who was leaving our agency as the director here in Atlanta. It was sad to see him leave as he had been there for us all through our journey to get Sheridan. He was therefor the rough times and also to share with great enthusiasm the joy we have in being a family.

The event was bittersweet for all of us including Dick. He has such joy in seeing the families come home with their children, but it was his judgment that it was time to take another opportunity. We wish him well. It was the first time that we had been a part of a group back at the Chapman’s home. Since our First Friday group has moved to North Metro, we have not experienced the familiar surroundings of their home. It was nice to enjoy their hospitality again.
