Toddler Time with B and Special K

Sunday brought us to the southside of town after housecleaning in the morning. We have our 6 month update on Monday and needed to tidy up. So we tidied up in the morning and prepared to leave for the southside of town. We arrived at B and Special K’s without problems. We were there to try out toys and to let them (especially B) have more toddler time. He needs to get used to having one around as they soon be traveling to get Micah.

We talked and Sheridan played (mostly with a kitchen set that had neat magnetic food that you could cut (separate the magnets) into pieces). We journeyed to lunch at Taco Mac and the food was good. Sheridan had one time out for coloring on the wrong thing (the back of the wooden booth). No worries as it erased. He came back from 2 minutes with the wall, a happier guy and with Sorry to MaMa.

Back to their house for more questions and info including 2 diaper changes for B. Sheridan let them try the Mai Tie with him in it and we got Micah’s clothes for the trip sorted. We pared down their packing list (Donna can tell you about packing interventions) and will be on call from now through when they come home.

We had a lovely day sharing their trip with them. It is great to be virtual travelers with those who are getting their children. It is just a small thing to be able to help and it brings such joy to us.
