The Bad Bear Visited

Sheridan had a visit from the Bad Bear while he was sleeping. It started with his appearance in the room on the 2nd. He came in for cuddles and good morning. MaMa heard a scrapping sound. She then could not find her glasses. She asked Sheridan where he glasses were and he said wait, wait. He then got her glasses. The scrapping sound was him rubbing the lenses on the tile floor. She can hardly see out of them. We have insurance on the glasses, so in 7 days she will be able to see again.

He had a few more incidents during the day — going down the basement stairs when told not to several times. He wanted to see what the pest inspector was doing with BaBa down stairs. He also continues to test the idea that he touch the computer mice on my desk or anything else on the desk. He will quickly tell you he is “all done” or that this is “hands in pocket” when prompted.

Well it seems that we exorcised the Bad Bear with a good night’s sleep. He awoke this morning as his own charming self. It will be a busy day as we head to a visit at the funeral home for a friend’s mother, the doctor’s to have his wrist examined and then to do errands. This is the last day of the vacation for me. Tomorrow is a teacher workday and then Monday the fun starts both at high school and the university. However, at the end of the tomorrow we look forward to our First Friday meeting.
