Christmas Shopping at Mall of Georgia

Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life .

We started with breakfast at Chick-fil-A and then made the long ride across town to the Mall of Georgia. We were going to do the last of our window shopping today. Sheridan was having a bad day today. He was not feeling his normal self. The ride across town was punctuated by several Taz episodes as he cried and was upset in the car seat. The first occurred as we ate at Chick-fil-A. He had already had oatmeal just a short time ago. He got some chicken nuggets and ate them and was upset that there was no more. Then he did not like the news on the radio or later the Christmas Music. When we arrived, he was all smiles again after seeing a playscreen in the mall floor and playing on that. He had a good time at the mall. He enjoyed window shopping and eating in the food court. He got another chance to play at the mall in the play area. We picked up some items at Williams and Sonoma for the kitchen and a gift for his sister for Christmas.

We left the mall to go to Discover Mills and he went to sleep in the backseat. We got him in the stroller while still asleep and were able to get to shop with him snoozing. We did not buy much, but did pickup an item for Tymm and Laura. We know that they will enjoy this small item that make us think of eBaby. He woke up with a fit right before we left. He did not really wake up until he got a snack and some water.

Our last stop of the night was to H market (Asian Grocery) for some snacks for Sheridan. He did not want to ride in a buggy. He usually loves to do this. He also did not want to go in. He was still waking up from the nap and was hungry. We could solve the hunger here and the tired would vanish. He picked out some clementines and some apples. His mood was improving. We then got him some rice cakes that were made fresh. He charmed the lady into getting a sample each time we bought a set for him. He munched away on his cakes while we finished shopping. I wish I could say the ride home was great. It was fine as long he had a rice cake to munch on. Once his rice cake was done, he was again unsettled in the car seat. Taz had reappeared. We did make it home and thing were fine. He slept well tonight.

Here is a photo taken last week at the Waffle House on the Saturday before the adoption celebration last Sunday. I had forgotten to post this one.

You guys have a great Christmas!
