I have been playing with my new toy on Thursday. It is much smaller than my previous Canon 10D and has a higher resolution. What is cool is that I will be able to shoot RAW and JPG pictures at the same time for more precise photo editing with Adobe Photoshop CS/3 and organizing with Adobe Lightroom.
I have previously used Adobe Photoshop Elements for cataloging my photos. I really enjoy creating memories and making photos. There are so many things that you can now do with photography. Your darkroom is now in your computer. I can remember when I developed my first roll of black and white TRI-X Pan Film. I was hooked. I enjoyed capturing the moments around me. I can express my creativity. The other is by writing. I enjoy taking the time to compose a document to get across my ideas or feelings.
Photography is one of the ways I enjoy spending time as a hobby. I combine this with our love of travel to make photos as we tour the world. It is good to take time to enjoy your passions. I now look forward to photographing our newest subject.

and then went to an AE-1. I moved from these to my first EOS and went through 3 of EOS film cameras finishing with Elan 7e. The Elan 7e was my last film camera and it is a great camera. I then went digital with a Canon Eos 10D. I loved seeing my work instantly and saving it to the computer.
The best advice I can give to anyone is to check out the Canon and Nikon cameras in your price range. Pick the one that feels best for you. You cannot go wrong with either. For photoediting, cataloging and photo creations — Adobe Photoshop Elements is the software to get. You can create scrapbook pages, postage stamps (yes real postage stamps), pictures to email or save to theweb, webpages, slideshows and even moives of your photos. So many things in an inexpensive package that is easy to use and gives great results.
For me, photography is a passion to enjoy along with traveling. I look forward to photographing our newest subject with my new toy. There are so many memories to capture as each day is magical.
