Sheridan goes to High School

Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life .

Sheridan went with MaMa to my high school today to visit with the parenting classes in Family and Consumer Sciences. MaMa was going to talk about adoption with the students and this was her first presentation to an audience about the process.

They were a hit. There were many good questions from the students during each of the three classes that he spoke to. The only hitch that we had was that his diaper bag had NO SNACKS. NO SNACKS = Anxious Sheridan. I went to the cafeteria between classes and got some soda crackers. He is very cute when he says Cracker which takes several syllables. Another teacher got him some chips and he was set for the day.

Of course he loved it as many of the girls in the class just fussed over him and he loves the attention from all the females. MaMa did well. It was a perfect day for them to come to school. It was homecoming week and today was Friday. The classes were shorter because of the parent conference week. I was so proud of both of them for taking this opportunity to educate others about adoption.
