Redecorating with Paint

Bathroom
Painting is coming to an end. The bathroom is now complete, but must dry after the second coat today. The extra electrical hole is gone under a few layers of spackle and a good coat of paint. Tomorrow, I just have to hang the new fixture and touch-up the ceiling.

Bedroom
The bedroom has the first coat applied to the walls. Tomorrow a second coat will go on and hopefully that will complete the painting. There will also be a little touch-up on the ceiling and cleaning the floor from a few paint drops. Hopefully we have found the little guy a twin bed and therefore we will just need to put the room back together. Next week Mama will get to clean up after the deconstruction (removing wallpaper and sanding) and the application of new paint on the walls. I will help on Tuesday which is my free night.

Next Weekend
We are planning a busy weekend next week with the home show at the GA. World Congress Center, the Dogwood Festival and the opening of the Renaissance Festival. It is 2 for 1 opening weekend at the Renaissance Festival so we can’t miss the discount. The home show and Dogwood Festival are only next weekend. We will do one on Friday after school. Another on Saturday after I do training and the last on Sunday. All of which is better than wallpaper stripping, sanding, cleaning, patching, priming, and painting only to paint some more. Glad the renovations are almost done. Time to get the LOA and TPII so that we can plan travel and bring Sheridan home.
