Rainbow – The Wiley Chihuahua

We have a chihuahua. Her name is Rainbow. We got her in 2000 at a garage sale. Yep – a garage sale! She was about a year and a half old and just sitting in a cardboard box. Best garage sale find we’ve ever had!

Rainbow is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever known. No loud barking, no snapping, no biting. Her vet doesn’t even think she knows how to bite! Perfect dog!

My best friend came over yesterday to get keys to the house and car. M is picking us up at the airport when we return from China and is also taking care of my plants and checking on the house while we are gone. M is my angel here on Earth and she and her husband, J, are also going to be Sheridan’s godparents.

While M was over, Rainbow turned on her charm and being the wiley darling she is, managed to weasel her way into M’s heart. A couple hours after M left, she called and said that she wanted to have Rainbow stay with them while we were gone. Mind you, Rainbow usually stays at Doggy Camp with Mrs. Debbie, gets super spoiled and LOVES it there. However, M was insistent so now Rainbow is going to spend 18 days with Mrs. M., Mr. J and their son, A. Talk about a lucky dog!!!
