Big Helper

I know that every parent thinks that his child is really special and you know what they are correct. Every child is special and unique.

With that said, I now have excused myself to gush over my youngest child. So if this is not what you wish to read, well frankly then this post is not for you. It is for Sheridan. The blog is for Sheridan and is a written reflection with pictures of his family and our adventures together.

He is such a great helper to his MaMa and watches over her with understanding far beyond his years. He helped MaMa today with the consignment sale. He helped her unload the car including the big totes and then racking up the clothes for checkin. After checkin, he helped her rack the shoes, the books and clothes.

When he returned home, he decided to pickup the apples in the years that had fallen from the tree and bag them for the trash. The apple tree produces many apples, but they are too sour to eat or even cook with. So the squirrels, birds and bugs enjoy them until they are almost rotten and need to be removed.

Our son is compassionate, well mannered and thoughtful. He is outgoing, loyal, sensitive, insightful and cares for others. I could not be prouder of him. I told him this tonight and then took him and MaMa for ice-cream as a reward.

Just one of those days where I count my blessings and know that Sheridan is one of the top blessings on my list and in my life.
