There are some days that just make you SMILE!

There are some days along the adoption journey that just make you smile. Today is one of those days! Wonderful news from two of our friends that are adopting. First, C just called and they have just gotten their Giving and Receiving Date from Vietnam! This means that they will be traveling in less than TWO weeks to get Lennah. Travel has come much quicker than they expected – they didn’t expect to travel until the middle of August. Once again, God’s timing is perfect as C is a teacher and doesn’t have much leave accumulated. She’ll be able to get to Vietnam and back, have some time to spend with Lennah before returning to teach, and only have to go a few days without pay. Just so wonderful it makes you SMILE!
Another family, from our First Friday gatherings, just found out today that have a LID of June 13, 2007. D and CJ are adopting Shelby, a beautiful little girl with a CL/CP. If all goes well, they should be traveling in October or November. Once again, perfect timing for another set of wonderful people. SMILE, SMILE,SMILE!!
