Nighttime Funnies

Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life .

Magoo was asleep last night after a long day of playing outside. The weather was wonderful, but with springtime also comes the beginning of pollen season. He had just gotten over strep and here comes the pollen to stop him up again. The point being is that he was worn out. When he is worn out, he tends to have nighttime sleeping issues.

True enough, he woke up in middle of the night crying and asking for MaMa. I went in to comfort him. He looked up at me and said “I’m sad.” I asked why. He said “I am hungry.” I told him to close his eyes and dream of chocolate. I put on his music (Kenny Loggins) and covered him and he was off to dreamland.

He really was not awake and all he needed was a little comfort to sleep through the rest of the night.

One Comment so far...

What a lucky boy he is to have loving parents that can get him back to sleep. I wish I could learn to just dream of chocolate and not eat it!
