Day 9 – In the South and Home Again

We awoke well rested this morning after another good stay at LaQuinta. It was nice to have a bright clean sunny day to travel home. We had breakfast at the hotel and were off on the road to go home. I got MaMa the Sienna in the April and now she wants to drive while we are on the road. She HAD to drive up over Thanksgiving due to the forgotten wallet. She drove in the snow and was much more accomplished than I was in driving in these conditions.

I drove the last segment after lunch yesterday, but this morning she was gain ready to drive. I guess she really does love her van. Donna called yesterday and wanted to know why we were not home yet. Well we should be home later today and back with our Rainbow.

We arrived home about 4:00pm after short stops at the outlet malls on the way home and a stop at the car wash when we returned home. We got the car unloaded and were glad to see our house. The snow was nice, but we are glad to be away from the white snow, the gray snow, the black snow and the sludge.

Just a few minutes later, Sheridan and I will go out to get Rainbow to bring her home.

There is no place like home.
