6 More Sleeps
Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life .
Today, I went to church. I followed that up with delivering a refrigerator on the way home. I then stayed home and worked on cleaning, filing and organizing the office. During that time, I sold all of the Thomas the Train pieces, track and table. I also sold the plastic organizer carts and the MacLaren stroller organizer tote. I worked on an older laptop and it is ready for sale tomorrow. It is going to a yound lady for Christmas.
No, despite the poor economic conditions we are not holding a going out of business sale. We are just picking up with round 2 of the clean the clutter and garage movement begun in the summer and paused for school. I still have Baker Racks, an Oven Cabinet, 4 decorative shelves and 2 12 in x 6 ft bookcases for sale. Also a few other odds and ends. I spend Saturday posting on Craigs list and today was the payoff for that work. Hopefully the rest will go soon including a Queen Mattress set and a Cherry Double Bed frame.
Michael came over today and we also worked on the computers and network. MaMa had some email problems which he fixed. We then setup CrashPlan. This allows us to easily back up all of the PCs in the house to the new 1 TB drive that I bought on Black Friday. So this is up and running. He also began a backup of the website and blog (which is why the photos look a little funny now). We had trun off all of the plugins for the moment. Once the backup is complete, we will then be able to upgrade the most current version of WordPress. This will allow for a better administration of the blog. It will also allow me to easily post photos directly from the iPhone with ease.
So, we got caught on things since it has been awhile since Michael was over to work on the network. We just talked shop and enjoyed the day. For dinner, we went out for Cheesesteaks. Good food and good conversation. Still, I miss my loved ones in the cold frozen north.
One more day has passed and the rest will go quicker and soon it will be Saturday when all of us are back together. Until then, hugs and kisses from down south.
