One More Sleep

Last day of school today before the break. The day passed quickly with a lot of absentees, but by the end of the day there was a noticeable attrition in the number of students in class. A lot of them checked out early. I left shortly after the bell rang and headed home to get Rainbow. I then dropped her off so at the middle school where the owner of Doggie Camp works. She will be well cared for while we are away. I then ran the last minute errands. I remembered why we live close to work as the traffic tonight was horrible. It is cold, wet and dreary here. I was glad to get home and do the last few items needed to get ready for tomorrow.

Dad is picking me up at 5:00am so that we can get breakfast at Waffle House before heading to the airport. My flight is at 8am and I need to be there by 6am. I arrive at 10am and cannot wait.

Sleep tight tonight and tomorrow we will be back together.
