The All Christmas Movie-thon

Well I am still home alone with my buddy – Rainbow the wonder dog. She is great comfort, but is also missing our other fulltime residents. Going from a trio to a single is really different. It is very lonely at times. I look forward to the phone calls during the day and the Skype chats at night.

I have indulged my corny side during their absence. Thanks to ABC Family and the Hallmark Channel, I have been supplied with a steady stream of sappy holiday movies to watch at night. I am hoping to capture some of the joy of the season, but there is not nearly as much joy in whoville with the whos all out of town.

MaMa got Magoo an Advent calendar so that he can mark the days until Chritmas and it also is an easy way for him to mark the time until the Skpe tickles and kisses are replaced by the real thing. Have I said I miss them. Yes, covered that at least once.

Peter Falk is on tonight after class in another Christmas No So Classic. When I really get serious, I will have to break out the DVDs of White Christmas, Bells of Saint Marys and of course my all time favorite movie – “It’s a Wonderful Life”. Until then, I have Hallmark sponsoring the season.

Tomorrow is Adoption Option which will be strange without the other two. However, I will be with friends and this makes things easier. I might even get a little shopping done before I go. You just never know.
