Further BaBa the Builder Projects
Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life .
When we last looked in on BaBa the Builder, he and his trusty helpers Magoo and Rainbow had finished the kitchen for MaMa the Client. MaMa the Client was impressed with BaBa’s work and offered him another job. He would be hired to rebuild the front porch steps that were cracked and weathered by the Sun. He also got to play electrician and install 2 new Front Porch lights as the ones that were original to the house were weathered and in sad shape. So he went to Lowe’s and bought two wonderful fixtures on clearance that were more than 50% off. The project had it’s share of ups and downs. We had the bottom step that was too high. It had to be removed and the riser planned down to size so that it fit right. We also had to overcome the learning curve in building the handrails, but this was accomplished and the project finished a couple days past the one day projection.
The entire project was a success and here are the before and after photos from this project. MaMa the client was happy and crossed a couple more items off the Honey Do list she was keeping.
One Comment so far...
