Mother’s Day 2009

Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life .

Happy Mother’s Day. Magoo and I got MaMa yellow roses yesterday and today she got her cards. We went to church this morning and then off to see Tutankhamun and the golden Pharaohs exhibit at the Civic Center. Magoo was tired from a late night last night and from waking during the night.

The King Tut exhibit closes next weekend and we had tickets that went with the Dr. Hawass lecture in March. So today was the day to go as we did not want to wait to the last weekend. It was a very interesting exhibit and well staged. We saw several things that we had seen in Egypt, but also a few new items. It was fascinating and we had a good time. Magoo got tuckered out and went to sleep just as soon as we got in the car. We stopped at a Diner for lunch and he slept through it. He has never slept through a meal before. He was just itred. He got his lunch when we got home. Here are a few photos from the iPhone.
