What do you do with a new van? Go to IKEA.

We made a trip to IKEA after church today. We are going to be remodeling our pantry and adding some much needed organization and storage to our office/family room. We have to get ready for Magoo in MaMa’s pre-school. So we bought many tall cabinets on sale for 1/3 of original price. I will have much help in assembling these over the new few weeks. I then will have to cut shelves to fit in the cabinets (which are just tall boxes, but with doors). It would be impossible to build these for the price of each on sale.

We had lunch at IKEA. Magoo also quickly spelled IKEA and then read the word. It will only be short amount of time before he can read pairs of words and then sentences will soon follow. We waited for them to pull the order. He and I played with the the cart which consisted of me driving him all over the waiting area. We also cut several rolling doughnuts as we moved around the waiting area. It was amusing for both of us and the several onlookers.

As we begin the assembly and organization, I will get some photos up over the next few weeks. I have 3 more weeks at the University for the spring term and beginning in May, I will be able to begin the work on organizing and cleaning that will mark the summer for us.
