Another Homecoming

Tonight we went to the Airport to welcome home the latest member of the Adoption Option Community — LynnMarie Christopher. We had dinner tonight with Amy’s parents. We ate at a local Japanese restaurant. It was a nice meal and gave us a chance to talk about the new parents and give them a little more insight into what it means to raise an adopted child from China.

We finished dinner and Amy’s Mom and MaMa went to the house to get the car while I took Magoo to the mall. We had an Ice Cream together and then it was time to go. MaMa picked us up and we had a little time to kill. We could not get home and back before it was time to go to meet them back at their hotel in order to go to the Airport. So off we went to Walmart. We killed some time there and then journeyed back to the hotel and waited in the parking lot until time to go to the Airport.

Amy and Michael would not arrive until midnight, so this was a late night. We waited and waited and then they came to the top. I was a little under the weather and tired. I got off a few shots and then watched as they interacted with Amy’s parents and Michael’s Aunt and Uncle. It was good to see that their journey was now at the end of the beginning. Their journey is far from over, but the beginning of their journey is now complete. Welcome home!!
