Consignment Sale

It is that time of year, Consignment Sale Season. We sell at one of the big sales in our area. It is a chance to get some of the items that Magoo has outgrown or no longer plays with sold. It is a chance for him also to get new clothes and toys that he can use. It is a wonderful thing. There are many sales in the spring and then later in the fall. We worked the past weekend finding all of the items, cleaning the ones that needed it, pressing the clothes. It takes two of us to catalog the items and tag them for sale. We then loaded the truck up and took it for check in.
Tonight, we got to go back to the sale to shop. It is great to shop before the public shops. Sellers are allowed to shop right after the sale volunteers. We don’t get all of the great items, but you get more selection than when the public shows up the following day. This particular sale also lets new parents shop on preview night (1 hour after the sellers). That is a nice feature and we used it before Magoo came home.
We found a few things during the preview advanced sale. It was nice to spend the evening with MaMa as Magoo is not allowed during the pre-sale. He stayed with Ms. Kristan (whom he adores). It was a nice night for all of us.
