Spring has begun

Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life .

With the time change Sunday and the warmer temperatures, it is indeed spring. Spring in our town is a wonderful time filled with craft fairs, special events, outings, and the Dogwoods in blossom. We are looking forward to going to the home show, the Dogwood Festival and consignment sales. We also have a special treat in the King Tut exhibit in town and a lecture by Dr. Zahi Hawass who is head of Egyptian Antiquities. He has been featured on the History Channel and the Discovery Channel and with his Fedora on has a fair resemblance to Indiana Jones. I am looking forward to seeing him speak. I will be going with Magoo that night while MaMa attends the pre-sale for one of the large consignment sales.

The trees are starting to bloom. The nights are getting longer and the air is much warmer. Time to take off the socks and enjoy my Keens and the beauty of spring.
