Outside looking In

Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life .

I left for work this morning with a joy in my step (not from going to work). As I left the house to get the trash to to the curb and pack the truck, I hear the sound of laughter coming from upstairs. It is a sound that we frequently hear in our home. The peels of Sheridan’s giggles were coming from the upstairs as he and MaMa played before going downstairs for breakfast.

I left with a smile on my face and a little remorse as I really did not want to leave. I wanted to be “sick” and stay home with both of them. Spring break cannot come too soon for me and then the wonderful season of the year – Summer. Summer at home with both of them and months of fun to pack into those two short months.

Sometimes you get the chance to be outside looking in.

We have been married for 26 years, and have been blessed with our youngest son from China. Our oldest son is from Nicaragua. He and his wife have given us two outstanding grandchildren. Our daughter is Thai and is married to a wonderful son-in-law.

This is the chronicle of our adventures as a family with Sheridan.
