A little Nap

Today, we were watching Cast Away on the DVR. Magoo was a little upset since he did not get to watch another of his shows. He came over to me for a sympathetic ear. A cuddled him and rocked him and before you knew it, he was sleep on top of me. What is significant is that this is the first time that he has taken a nap on top of me. I am not the MaMa. Don’t get me wrong for I am one of his parents and am known as BaBa, but that is not the same as MaMa. Even though there are times that this distinction is painful, I do know that I am loved.

So for what seems like a small step today is indeed a larger one for me and for this I give thanks.
