Too Insightful

Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life .

Our Little Old Man is too insightful. His coin dishes are almost empty. He was told to leave them on the steps for the Money Fairy to put some more money in them. He came back downstairs since he could not fall asleep. MaMa asked him about the coin dishes and then he told her that BaBa would put more money in the dishes while he was asleep. MaMa asked him about the Money Fairy and he told her that BaBa was the Money Fairy.

I can just see it now — Magoo looses his first tooth and put out his hand for a $1 from whichever parent that he has determined is the Tooth Fairy.

This also explains why the Elf on the Shelf has really not gone over well. He knows about the elf and what it is, but has told us more than once when asked to find the elf in the morning that MaMa or BaBa placed him on whichever perch he is on that day.

The joys of having a literal child. This is another reason that we see an old soul in a young body and call him our little old man.

One Comment so far...
