(Cruise Day 3) Day at Sea – Birthday

We made it to dinner a little late and prepared for another great meal. Tonight we would celebrate my birthday with a cake for desert. Sheridan is really well behaved at dinner and this is no small feat as dinners are formal with multiple courses and usually about 90 minutes. I am not surprised as he does so well when he goes to the fancy restaurants with the professional teacher group with whom I work.

We had another trio from Colorado join us for dinner. She is an elementary school teacher and the father and son are farmers. Their daughter is also a teacher. Both of their children were adopted domestically over 25 years ago. We had a nice time with the casual conversation and then we ate cake. We finished our evening off with doing laundry. This was a needed event, but was not an exciting ending to the day. It was a great birthday.
