Halloween on the Road

Donna got a Treat today when she thought that she had received a trick. Her early morning post lamented about it being day 100 and no LOA. Later in the day, her LOA was there and so the Trick turned into a Treat. Congratulations to the Straight Family and soon the newest Straight will complete the inside Straight of 6.

Today is Halloween and Magoo has already celebrated it last weekend doing his Trick or Treating at the local park in our community. He had a blast doing this. He also got to wear his costume to a playgroup Halloween and by the time his Chinese Playgroup met, he was over Halloween.

We are out of town at a conference today for Business Teachers. So it is just as well that he is over Halloween. I presented two sessions today in Louisville and then had the evening and rest of the weekend to spend with the family. It is nice to get a mini vacation out of this weekend.

Mama and Magoo went to the zoo in Louisville while I was in town presenting the sessions. Tonight, we had dinner and spent a little time in Louisville. Tomorrow, we head back toward home with a stop at Mammoth Caves. We will also determine where we are going to stay the night and what we will do on Sunday.

Next week is also a little easier on the workload as school is out on Tuesday for the election and next weekend we head to Savannah for another conference. This will leave us two full weeks before the Thanksgiving break and then 1 final week of University classes before I can be home for December and our trip to Minnesota for Christmas with our daughter. We are beginning to see the end of this long semester an to that, we can say Thanks.
