MaMa’s Helper

Posted by MaMa under: Daily Life .

Today was house cleaning day. Sheridan loves to help. He usually dusts and vacuums. Today was a little different. I cleaned the blades of the ceiling fans before vacuuming. While I cleaning in the living room, my little helper got the mop and water and proceeded to ‘mop’ the dust off the floor in the kitchen and sunroom. I had wet dust bunnies everywhere! About the time I discovered my helper and his new cleaning style, BaBa called and said he wanted to take us to lunch. Being the clever MaMa, I told BaBa he could have some special bonding time with Sheridan while I cleaned up this new mess. First time in fourteen months that I was able to clean the house by myself. Amazingly, it didn’t take that long! What a treat to mop and not have to continuously say, “DON”T walk on the wet floors!” Thank you, BaBa and thank you, Sheridan. Both of your special type of help made my day.

Wow! I can only imagine how much I could get done without my “helpers”. I just might have to let the girls go on a date with Daddy too!
