First Friday and Belief

A good thought for while we wait. Tonight is our First Friday group and we are having dinner with at least two other couples prior to the get together. MaMa really did not want to go, but it will be good for her soul to be in the community. She was a little worried that she would be embarrassed since we should have already left for China and have been delayed. It is happening in God’s time, but we still pray that our LOA will come soon. Come on LOA, we need you.

School is out, thank God. I have been working on Sheridan’s room and bathroom. The bathroom is almost done. Just one more set of touch-up paint and some caulk. MaMa will then have to make his drape and it will be done.

His bedroom — ceiling has been touched up. Walls are next. His headboard is finished. His shelves are also finished with the painting. We are now working on the drawers for the dresser. They must be sanded, primed and then painted. The new drawer knobs must be primed, painted and the little boy icon glued on top. Finally, we are making the bedside lamps. We are working with 3 wooden words for each lamp along with a picture frame. They must be primed, painted, and assembled in order to be done. Our target date is next Tuesday or Wednesday to have the room completed. Photos will be posted when we are done.

MaMa started working on his 100 wishes quilt scrapbook. It is looking really good. We will have wishes coming from Egypt and Turkey in the next couple of weeks.
