A visit to school and a day at the Lake

Posted by BaBa under: Daily Life .

On Friday, MaMa and Sheridan came to school to visit the Family and Consumer Science Classes formerly known as Home Ec. MaMa was talking to the students about adoption and Sheridan was there for Show and Tell. MaMa was the Tell and Sheridan was the Show. Sheridan is usually the Show wherever he goes. He really enjoys coming to school. He knows that on Fridays there will be a chance to get a Chicken Biscuit. Yes, he got a Chicken Biscuit as did MaMa and BaBa. He also sneaks across the hall just to visit BaBa’s classes and see the big kids working on the commuters (his word for computers).

MaMa left with a sad little guy after the 3 classes that she spoke to about Adoption. He was sad because I could not come home as well. I was a little sad myself as I would like to have gone on their adventures for the day. However, it would just be a few hours before they would be back to get me. We were all going to the southside of town to visit the Ladmans. I had been commissioned to do family photographs. We were going to stay the night and then photos today. MaMa, Sheridan, and Rainbow picked me up from school and off we went.

We enjoyed some quiet time along with good fellowship followed by a nice dinner on Friday. On Saturday, we journeyed out on the golf cart through the trails to several spots for photos. The photo shoot was challenging as Micah was quickly ready to be done with the photos. We preserved with the shooting. MaMa really is good at posing subjects and bringing out the expressions that make good photos. Sheridan was also helpful in working to catch Micah’s eyes along with climbing all over BaBa at times while he was shooting.

We finished up the shooting and headed back to their house for our journey home. We had dinner at the Dwarf House (home of Chick-Fil-A). We then went grocery shopping and came home tired. Magoo was tired from not having a nap and a little edgy. He perked up when his sister called from Minneapolis. He got to talk to her tonight and did well with his second conversation. A quick shower for him and he was in bed and out. We got a quick shower as well and then relaxed watching a couple of shows while I began to download, sort and edit the photos.

Here are the results of today’s photo shoot.
