Ouch!

Posted by MaMa under: Daily Life .

Sheridan started soccer at the local parks and recreation department this week. It is a great program and will help Sheridan with some gross motor skill deficits that he is still encountoring. He was so excited and following the coaches instructions very well. However, when the coach asked the children to sit on the soccer balls in a circle, Sheridan proceeded to lie on his ball on his stomach. Unfortunately, that wasn’t such a good idea as he rolled off his ball and did a face plant. One very bloody nose was the outcome. True to form, Sheridan wasn’t worried about the bloody nose, just the fact that his shirt was now very dirty. Fifteen minutes later, he was back to practicing his drills. As he said on the way home, soccer balls are for kicking, not for lying upon.
