Happy Birthday MaMa

Today is the day. No, you are not going to guess the day for what as I gave that away in the title. I will not give away how many birthdays that MaMa has celebrated.

I do have to admit that we did not do anything special today except to say Happy Birthday to MaMa. Actually she did all of the special things today for us. She baked Chocolate Chip Muffins for us for breakfast. Magoo did sing Happy Birthday in Chinese to MaMa. He had learned this in the last couple of weeks in his Chinese lessons with Ms. Autumn. His Chinese lesson this week got moved from Thursday night to Friday this week, but there still was not enough time to go to dinner since I still had to teach tonight.

When I got home this afternoon from school I found that MaMa had made us a wonderful dinner with steamed rice and shrimp. Just add some teriyaki sauce and you have a meal fit for royalty.

Our daughter-in-law called and she along with the grandkids came by with some flowers to wish MaMa a Happy Birthday. Their phone call and visit sure made it a great evening.

Sheridan and I will take MaMa out for dinner tomorrow night or Saturday to celebrate her birthday. Until then — Happy Birthday MaMa.
