Memorial Day

Posted by BaBa under: Holidays .

We started the unofficial beginning of summer today. Unlike years past, I am still in school teachng. Our goofy calendar this year has school still in session. We have finals this week and graduation on Saturday morning. Post-planning follows next Monday & Tuesday. So summer really begins next Wednesday.

Today we began with breakfast at Waffle House and then ran errands. We bought our season pass at the local water park. We followed up with bowling. In another life I used to bowl frequently even owning my own ball and shoes. No one watching my form or looking at my score would be convinced that I had ever had bowled before. Mama did well and Sheridan had fun. Maybe with time I can convince my body to do this skill because my mind still remembers.

We will finish the day with swimming lessons and dinner. The iPhone photos are not really sharp, but it is a good way to create a phost and to get something up on the fly.

One Comment so far...
